A subject you enjoyed studying this semester

Hi everyone

Today I'm going to talk about A subject i enjoyed this semester, this is process and prototype I

In process and prototypes we have seen several topics like the printing systems (industrial and digital), such as the types of design (visual, of character, industrial, and more), examples of different types of design and now we are seeing how to make foldables, it is very entertaining, they are also teaching us the basics of photoshop, illustrator and indesign that are programs that are used very commonly in design, and we were also going to see packaging but this will not happen because time was lacking

 in classes we see the subject matter, and usually we do thematic work that we choose referring to the main topic, this in pairs normally.

I like this topic because my teachers interact quite a lot with us and the topics are very entertaining for me, although I would have liked to have this subject in face-to-face classes more than online.

A Career-Related Website OR an Expert in Your Field

 

Hello everyone

Today I´m going to talk about a person  in my field that I admire:

Sol Díaz is an illustrator, and graphic designer of the University of Chile, a graduate in arts from the Catholic University, dedicated to doing some comics, novels she herself relates, stories for children, and digital illustrations for various publishers.

His best known novels are, like being an elegant woman 1, 2 and 3, besides his comic “bicharracas”, of which he also has several versions, she also illustrates some stories for children such as “ la hoja naranja” and also makes illustrations for a live jazz orchestra called the “orquesta de jazz andino” while they play music.

I like Sol Díaz very much because in his illustrations he touches social themes, such as feminism, stereotypes that are imposed in society for women, besides I like his way of drawing because his stroke is fast and dynamic, their illustrations are simple and i think that gives them their own identity.

How Can Your Major/Career Make the World a Better Place

Hello everyone!

Today I´m going to talk about the importance of the design (for me)

Well, I think my career helps people because the design tries to solve human problems (in the case of object design, it seeks to produce objects that mediate with the environment) besides that it helps to explore the imagination and creativity, it tries to make this a better world.

I see myself in this process as a graphic designer, since I love drawing, and although I don´t consider this as a transcendental area knowing all that is design, I would also like to help other people find their creative side and that they are interested in drawing.

I think my career helps the world, and looking for the best way to develop a product for this, for example, now with the pandemic, infographics, web pages, digital media, services and many more things that are part of the design, are being critical to being able to cope with it.

A photograph you like

Hi everyone
The photograph I like most with my family  is this, here I am with my brother named Alejandro, he is 25 years old and my sister named Carla, she is 30 years old, it is the picture I like most because they are very special people for me, they are the people I trust most and I want most, apparently that day we were celebrating all in my house xd, my other sister is missing, but all the other photos didn’t go very well ajaja, it was taken about 8 months ago, and I think it was my sister carla who took this photograph, but it could actually have been anyone because it was with front camera and timer.
we like to celebrate frequently without a specific reason, most of the time we come together to watch horror videos in Youtube (especially two chanels: Dross or Breakman) or some movie, while eating something rich.

A meal of food you really like

 

Today i am going to talk about my favorite food
My favorite food is the fajitas or tacos, they are a dough of corn flour, which inside have several ingredients, like corn, avocado, mushrooms, mayonnaise, Pickles, lettuce, tomato, cheese, I like dont carry meat because I am a vegetarian.
 
They are prepared by heating the corn tortilla and putting inside the ingredients you like the most, then it wraps up and ready.
 
I like them a lot because they are rich, I can put several ingredients to my taste and they are relatively healthy.
It has a positive impact on my health, because if I do not add you mayonnaise, they are a healthy meal, that is a very important point for me because I try to take care of my diet so that I don't have nutritional deficiencies by not eating meat.

My favorite piece of technology

 Hi everyone! 

Today I am going to talk about my favorite piece of technology, this is my tablet because it has a pencil with which I can draw, besides being able to read pdfs with a good size letter, I also see videos of youtube since sometimes it gives me laziness to turn on the computer xd.

The truth has helped me a lot because so I learn about digital drawing, although maybe soon I buy a graphics tablet, but I feel that the tablet like it is comfortable because it doesn't need to be connected to the computer.

I recommend using a tablet because it is like the midpoint between a cell phone and a computer, there are things that are difficult to visualize with the cell phone and the computer is usually more apparent, besides that if you like to draw, it serves in the same way, i do not regret to buy the one I have.

Why did I choose my career?

Hello!

When I was a girl, my dream was to be Math teacher because I loved the numbers, if I wasn't studying design, I wanted to be a teacher.

Also I wanted study architecture or illustration, I knew that I didn't want to stop drawing because I really like it.

I decided for design because I'm interested in character design and object design (industrial) in at moment,. I thought about " what career do I think will be happy with? I'm going to study for five years, so it's got to be something I really like.
I like the career, is different, it's not how I thought, but is relativly difficult on line, I would like go to the University in person, but at least from home I can get some more sleep XD.

When university is over, i dont know what I want to do, maybe I learn other things, I want to be  an eternal student jiji, I'm interested in many things, I like the nutrition, maths, plastic art, architecture and other proffesions.
